I doubt any one in Tracy/Monteagle is at $90/hour. I'ld bet no one up there is higher than $60/hour.

Really? How far off do they have to be to do this? I have never set one with a Tech2 , but have done countless intakes on them and have never had any issues.

Talkin about setting it by ear like you do some ol carb motor . Like anything over 8 degrees one way will have some effect on drivability. Im talking about dumbazzes that have some issue with the engine and say"Ill just bump the timing up" or some bullshit like that

The last shop I worked at was 65per hr but 90 per hr on Comp diagnostics.

Where(what city) was that? I have never worked anywhere that had a different rate for diagnostic work. But it wouldn't have mattered much if they did. I do my damnedest to stay away from work like that.

It was in Huntsville. We had so much software we had to charge more to upkeep the laptops. (at least thats what he told the customers) Usually didnt have more than an hour per truck though. We did have alot of software , Cat ,Cummins ,Detroit Diesel ,IHC , a Tech 2, not to mention every kind of Air Brake ABS software there is. Plus a Freakin Modis

Those are lame examples to. I don't know anything about the 352, what was wrong with it?

And I believe pumpkin has talked about the 351C, not the M.

But you only get half credit though. While it was lame for the offroader it worked good for them. They didn't have to have 2 different frames for 2wd and 4x4.
