i was countin the seconds till somebody said that.   But in my defense i didn't have a good runnin engine to start with.   I bought a block and misc. parts and built it slow from there.      hey, hows the 84eb comin?

Actually Im liein.....If I had money Id have a cam so big in the Blazer it would idle on 3 grand. 600 lift ,duration for days , and a 105 lobe sep

Not telling what to do, but Id run the stock motor for a while at least until you get the bugs worked out suspension and drive train before you start trying to make the big numbers,

I had one come in today with an intake leak and it had code 1345 in it so I checked it with a scan tool, before I took it apart, and the cam retard was at -52 degrees. The distributor was in 2 teeth off. I haven't done an intake on one of these in a while, but it's about damn time they started making good gaskets for them. No more plastic gaskets. When did they start that?

I dunno , its been a couple years since Ive done an intake on one but as I remember the ones I did were in fact plastic gaskets with like a wire or somthing around the ports

Now the replacement gasket is metal with rubber molded to it.
